My parents have been rather adventurous on this trip in regards to Japanese cuisine. For two people that like their meat well done and their fish cooked, I’ve been impressed with how they’ve fared here so far:

– My dad ate sushi, which includes a lot of fish he hasn’t eaten before like raw squid and eel.
– Parents ate Kobe beef cooked at medium rare for the first time I’ve seen instead of their usual well done.
– Both are learning how to use chopsticks (and are drastically improving with every meal!)

Way to go, guys!
